Honolulu International Airport

Description

Honolulu International Airpoty (HNL) is the airport serving Honolulu county , state of Hawaii.   The airport opened in 1927 as John Rodgers airport but has undergone renovation recently in 2006. 

There are 3 Terminals in the Honolulu International Airport:

1. Main Terminal : Diamond Head concourse ( Gate 6-11 ) Central Concourse ( Gate 12-25 ) Ewa concourse ( Gate 26-34)

2. Interisland Terminal ( Gate 49-61 )

3. Commuter Terminal ( Gate 62-80 )

Among these Terminals International flights operates from Main Terminal and Interisland Terminal. There is an airport bus helping passengers commute between the three terminals.

Halal food availibility is not known. However, there are many food outlets which offer vegetarian options throughout the airport.

There is an intra airport transport bus facility called wiki wiki buses assisting passengers to travel within the airport. There are also various buses available from the airport to the main city. There are taxi cabs and car rental agencies available that would take you to your destination.

There are ample shops that would gurantee you a good shopping experience. You can find duty free, souvenirs, bookstores within the airport.
