Denver International Airport

Description

Denver International Airport also known as DIA is the airport of the city Denver in Colorado. It was opened in 1995. It is the largest airport in USA by total area. It is also the second largest airport in the world in terms of total area. The airport is built facing the Colorado mountains giving passengers a spectacular view. While building the airport there was also alot of funds given to art which can be seen within the airport.

There is one terminal called the Jeppessen Terminal. The Terminal is connected to concourse A, B and C via pedestrian bridge and trains which assist the passengers to traverse within the airport. The Islamic prayer hall is present at the southeast side of level 6 of the Jeppesen Terminal. This hall is opened 24 hours throughout the day.

There is an Islamic prayer hall at the southeast side  of level 6 of the Jeppesen Terminal. This hall is opened for 24 hours.

Halal Food

Halal food availibility is not known. However, there are many food outlets which offer vegetarian options throughout the airport.

Transport

There are public and private shuttle buses available from and to the airport. There are also specific hotel's shuttle buses to escort you to the hotels. You can also find car rentals and luxury limousine rentals. Taxi cabs are also available to take you to your destination.

Shopping

There are ample shops that would gurantee you a good shopping experience. You can find duty free, souvenirs, apparels and kids shop all throughout the airport. There are also jewellery, electronics and bookstores shops present at the airport. You will also find many themed Colorado gift shops and pets accessories shop.

Amenities

There are airline lounges, business services, internet, lost baggages, money exchanges, automatic teller machine (ATM) found throughout the airport. There are also chair massage centers, battery charging stations, airport mailers, internet and gaming cafes within the airport.
