Description

Inaugurated in 1981, King Abdulaziz International Airport, the first international airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is the busiest airport and the third largest in the Kingdom that is located 19km to the north of Jeddah. The airport is best known for its Hajj Terminal, that is able to accommodate up to 80 000 passengers at a time. The Hajj Terminal is specifically designed to handle the annual influx of pilgrims to the Kingdom.

Terminals

King Abdulaziz International Airport terminals offer many facilities for passengers, especially for annual Hajj. There are four namely South Terminal, North Terminal, VIP Terminal and the Hajj Terminal. The terminal which is a busiest provides all luxury style facilities to its passengers. Staff within the terminal centre is very helpful, active and the process is painless and efficient. Inside the terminal area is clean and has an open and bright surrounding where every traveler can relax after a journey.
