The security center staff within the terminal centres are very helpful and procedures are quick and efficient. The interiors of the terminal areas are clean and feature open and bright surroundings, with high ceilings and big windows. Plenty of shopping opportunities are also available, allowing passengers to purchase a variety of items - including excellent traditional Japanese souvenirs and gift items. The airport also offers several money exchange booths and other facilities make travelling easier and more enjoyable. Well prepared seating areas to relax, with free WiFi connection, has been implemented throughout the airport.

Prayer Facilities

Prayer facilities at Fukuoka Airport include a small prayer room located at the International Terminal Building 4F. The room is equipped with a small ablution facility for washing and can be used by Muslim travellers before prayers.

Halal Food

Though Fukuoka Airport presently does not offer any Halal restaurants, Muslim travellers have the choice of opting for some of the vegetarian dishes at some of the restaurants at the airport which offer a wide selection of international cuisine.
