Over the years, Petaling Jaya has become a commercial and residential hub. The town is divided into several sections and every place in the city is properly numbered. Visitors find it quite convenient to meander around the city as finding their destination is not difficult.

There are numerous night markets in Petaling Jaya where visitors can enjoy shopping. Shopping in the night markets of Petaling Jaya is one of the best ways to enjoy the Malaysian culture.

There are also modern malls in the city where visitors can find a variety of brands. The best shopping malls in Petaling Jaya include Amcorp Mall, Jaya Shopping Center, Giant Kelana Jaya,Digital Mall, Millennium Square, The Atria and The Curve.

Nearby Airports

The closest airport to Petaling Jaya is the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The airport is about 58 Km from Petaling Jaya and can be accessed by taxi, train and bus.

From Kuala Lumpur International Airport visitors can reach the KH Sentral Station. From the station buses can be taken to Petaling Jaya. Shuttle buses are available from KL Sentral Station for a fare of RM 9 for a one-way trip.
