The halal facilities in Kuala Lumpur make it one of the most favoured destinations by Muslim travelers.

There is an array of halal friendly hotels in Kuala Lumpur and finding one is not difficult. Some of the Kuala Lumpur Muslim friendly hotels include the Legend Hotel, Grand Seasons Hotel, etc.

Today Kuala Lumpur stands as one of the most distinguished cities in South East Asia. The former city centre of Kuala Lumpur at Merdeka Square is the core of the history of the city. It houses several historical buildings, which are fine examples of the amalgamation of British architecture with the Moorish style.

Nearby Airports

The nearest airport to the city is the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang about 53 Km from the city.

The KLIA Ekspres arrives directly inside the airport from KL Sentral;one way trip costs 35-50RM and round trip costs 70RM.

The Express Coach takes about one hour for one way transfer. It costs 10-20RM for on-way and 18-25RM for a round trip.

Taxis are also easily available from and to the airport and are quite affordable.

For Muslim travelers the first concern is the availability of halal food.

Kuala Lumpur has a wide range of halal restaurants.
