Fukuoka is a young and happening city that offers visitors with some wonderful attractions. Over the years Fukuoka has emerged as a wonderful metropolis that attracts visitors from all around the globe. The Momochi Seaside Park is the bustling waterfront area of the city. Here visitors will come across tree-lined streets, high-rise buildings and several parks. The Fukuoka Tower stands in this area. Just behind the tower, visitors can see the ROBOSQUARE where a few robots are kept as exhibits.
A few minutes away from the tower is Hawks Town, another popular entertainment complex. Close to the Hawks Town is a small stretch of beach, theMomochi BeachFukuoka also has a few good museums. For those interested in the culture and history of the area, the Kyushu National Museum is an excellent place to visit. There are several other parks in the city that travellers would love to visit. Some of these parks include the Ohori Park, Nishi Park and the roof-top garden terrace at the ACROS building.

Fukuoka is served by the Fukuoka Airport, which is located towards the eastern side of the city. From the airport visitors can take the subway or opt for express buses or taxis. The subway offers excellent connectivity to almost all parts of the city. The Fukuoka Airport is connected to both domestic as well as international destinations.
Fukuoka is home to quite a few Halal restaurants - many of which are Muslim-owned. Muslim travellers may also visit Tenichi located in front of Fukuoka Diamond building - the ideal place for Muslims to sample the finest tempura in the area.
Muslim travellers looking for a mosque in Fukuoka may visit the Fukuoka Masjid - also known as the Al Nour Islamic Center. The mosque is located in Higashi-ku and can be reached easily.
